This is the story of a day that we wanted to be perfect. A bank holiday trip to Brighton with friends. A chance to see the ocean, to see a band, to see slot machines and eat doughnuts. This is a story of a day that wasn't perfect. A day of fighting through hangovers, of trying to have a good time, of putting up with bad weather, of trying not to snap. This is a story. It focuses on the cracks.

Created for a game jam with the restriction of allowing only one choice in the game, Seven Steps to Limbo is a cinematic visual novel about a group of jazz players who are stuck in purgatory.

Yuuga Kamijo and Hotaru Shinonome were freshmen in high school, living in the same apartment building. They were so close that they walked to and from school together every day. Then one day after school, Yuuga meets an older student who calls herself "Manami." With Manami's addition to their daily life, the ordinary routine is gradually taking an unexpected turn. What is life? What is happiness? Self-love, self-hatred, self-denial, self-made choice, the story of a boy's rebirth after losing his reason for living.
