Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame is a platform game released as the sequel to 1989's Prince of Persia. Prince of Persia 2 was published for MS-DOS and ported to Macintosh, Super NES, and FM Towns – a much shorter list of platforms than the first game. It was also available as a bonus that unlocks in the Xbox NTSC version of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

In Skylanders Trap Team, Kaos continues his ongoing quest to rule over Skylands. Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore is a new interactive animated adventure, where players must help Arzette save the Kingdom of Faramore from the evil demon king, Daimur. It is a spiritual successor to a pair of infamous fantasy adventure titles, being developed by Seedy Eye Software and both funded & published by Limited Run Games. The Kingdom of Faramore is beautifully realized by Rob Dunlavey, the artist behind the world map paintings from the games that inspired Arzette. Additionally, voiceover talent from the games that inspired Arzette will be featured in the game, including Jeffrey Rath and Bonniejean Wilbur.

Kingdom Hearts IV follows protagonist Sora and some familiar characters as they journey through the mysterious city of Quadratum. Sora will once again journey to various worlds, where new figures cross his path and new powers awaken in this next chapter.

Although God of War is primarily a home console series, Betrayal was praised for its fidelity to the series in terms of gameplay, art style, and graphics: "the real deal third game in the killer franchise". It received awards for "Wireless Game of the Month" (June 2007) and "Best Platform Game" (wireless) of 2007.

It is 1159 AD, and a brutal samurai clan called The Heishi have stepped in to take power after the old nobility fell. With their mystical stones, they rule the land through fear and violence.

Onikira takes the deep fighting mechanics of some of the most amazing 3D beat ‘em ups, like Ninja Gaiden or Bayonetta, and merges them with classic 2D platformer mechanics in a way that has never been done before. For example, launch an enemy into the air, wall jump to position yourself above them, then Katana Slam them into the ground. Switch to the Naginata and use the Naginata Lift and air dash moves to stay in the air and off crumbling platforms, while pulling enemies up to you to be dispatched in mid-air. Whip out your grappling hook to grapple between platforms, across chasms or fiery pits, all the while fending off enemies. Every level is crammed full of environmental aids to help the player in combat encounters. Slice the support pillars off a building and watch it crush your enemies as it collapses, or use your moves to fling enemies into spikes, pits, or the path of moving deadly objects. Be careful though, as dropping a building on your own head is known to cause sadness!
