The PlayStation version is similar to the Nintendo 64 version in terms of graphics, but the gameplay differs significantly. It features the five main Rangers as playable characters, with the Titanium Ranger as an unlockable character. The game can be played in single-player or two-player mode and also includes voice clips from the Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue cast. Once chosen, the player(s) remain as the selected Ranger(s) for the entire game. During Megazord battles, the player using controller one can operate the Supertrain Megazord, which is replaced by the Omega Megazord in the final stage. Another special feature is the password system, which allows players to enter cheat codes for infinite health, lives, continues, and powered-up attacks. Players can also unlock an art and picture gallery, start the game at any of the first six levels, and access the Titanium Ranger. The final stage of the game is only accessible if the player saves their progress on a PlayStation Memory Card after completing the penultimate stage.

Players head out for an adventure with the Tiny Toons gang in Tiny Toon Adventures: Plucky's Big Adventure for PlayStation. In this title, based on the Tiny Toons animated series kids can play as Plucky, Hamton, Buster and Babs as they explore twenty-plus levels of Acme Looniversity in search of parts for a time machine for Plucky. While avoiding the incorrigible Elmyra and Montana Max, players help the gang seek out the time machine parts in order for Plucky to travel back in time to finish his homework. Searching all over the Looniversity in Acme Acres, players explore many places including the music room, history room, tennis courts and hallways. Items will vary from a bicycle pump to a potato and once an item is found, players can proceed with the level or return to the controlling character's respective locker to store the item. Each character can carry only three items at one time and players must decide which items are the most useful for each current level. Certain items are not time machine parts but rather will be used to acquire parts later in the game.

Wolverine will be able to hunt and track his prey using his heightened sense of smell and ability to detect body heat. As Wolverine makes his way through the military compounds, he will need to avoid defense systems and guards, and find ways into locked rooms to discover the information he needs to survive.

Cartoon Network's boy genius Dexter is trying to save his laboratory from his archival Mandark in Dexter's Laboratory: Mandark's Lab? Mandark has infiltrated Dexter's lab and reprogrammed his computer, so players must help Dexter win it back by completing this adventure game covering four areas comprised of Dexter's house and his laboratory. In each area there are two mini-games and four hidden blueprint pieces to one of Dexter's inventions that give him an advantage in each of the mini-games. Both Dee Dee's Dance Off, which has players pressing buttons in time to music, and Cootie Call where Dexter exterminates flying cootie bugs, take place in Dee Dee's bedroom. What's Buggin' Dexter, a foot race between Dexter and a bug that could potentially infect his computer, takes place in his computer's circuit board, and Dexter's Dodgeball takes place in the school yard with Dexter targeting school bullies with playground balls.
