Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered is a collection of remastered versions of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver and Soul Reaver 2. The games follow the vampire-turned-wraith Raziel and his conflict with his former master Kain, combining exploration, combat, environmental puzzles, and the ability to shift between the Material and Spectral Realms. The collection features higher-resolution textures, updated character and environment models, improved visual effects, an upgraded camera, new control options, a map and compass, photo mode, and the ability to switch between the original and remastered graphics. It also includes bonus materials such as concept art, lore, soundtracks, and explorable areas cut from the original Soul Reaver.

This compilation contains four games from the Legacy of Kain series. The included titles follow the vampires Kain and Raziel through the world of Nosgoth, where conflicts among vampires, humans, and other supernatural forces drive the series’ narrative. Legacy of Kain: Defiance is an action-adventure game developed by Crystal Dynamics and released in 2003. It is the fifth entry in the Legacy of Kain series and continues the intertwined stories of Kain and Raziel. Players alternate between controlling the two protagonists, each with distinct abilities and combat styles. The game combines exploration, puzzle-solving, and fast-paced melee combat in a gothic fantasy setting.
