The player explores a large manor house in search of a missing daughter, interacting with almost every object and following hints delivered through an in-game mobile phone. A demonic witch can appear without warning at any point, keeping the player under constant threat. Light combat and item elements are included, such as using an axe on doors and combining objects into makeshift tools. It shares its name with, and is loosely based on, the film of the same title.

Omensight is an action role-playing game framed as an action murder mystery. The player takes the role of the Harbinger, a warrior who appears only in times of great crisis, and uses a power that allows her to relive a single fateful day over and over. The mystery is unravelled by replaying events and joining forces with different allies rather than by sifting through evidence directly.
