This work, "Ninja Jajamaru-kun Ranbu", which was previously released on feature phones, is a legitimate sequel to the "Ninja Jajamaru-kun" series, one of Jaleco's representative works. On stages themed around the four seasons of spring, summer, fall, and winter, use a variety of items such as "shurikens," "scrolls," and "flames," as well as advanced actions such as "triangle jump" and "tackle," to face off against formidable monsters! By acquiring the "souls" that appear when defeating monsters, the special attack gauge will rise, and when the special attack gauge reaches MAX, it will enter a state of wild dance in which the effects of items become even more powerful! Furthermore, if you defeat a monster and obtain a soul while in a wild dance state, the wild dance state will continue! Don't give the monster a chance to counterattack and dance magnificently in the land of peace!

Jaleco's popular action game "Ninja Jajamarukun" has been released as a 505 exclusive app. Moreover, it is released as a completely original new work. Jajamaru-kun will fight the monsters that come his way, using jumps, shuriken, and items on stages themed around the four seasons of spring, summer, fall, and winter. This game adds new actions such as dash, triangle jump, and tackle. Also, the effects of items will become more powerful as you fill up the special move gauge! In the previous game, you could only destroy blocks above your head, but now you can also destroy blocks above, below, left and right. Also pay attention to the big characters that appear at key points! "Ninja Jajamaru-kun Ranbu", which is currently being distributed as a 505 series exclusive application, has started distribution in response to the enthusiastic voices of users who said, "I want to play it on 504 as well!" Use shuriken, jumps, and items to shoot down the monsters lined up. Of course, the 504 series will also feature new actions such as dash and triangle jump!

As with the original Ninja-Kid, the goal of each stage is to defeat the many enemies roaming around by first reaching them and then throwing ninja stars at them. Ninja-kun can also acquire scrolls that briefly give him stronger attacks, like a fire burst that takes out all nearby enemies. Each stage (or "scene") has a different layout, with some being merely a single screen (such as Scene 1) as well as larger vertically- and horizontally-scrolling stages. The enemies are usually different too, with increasing difficulty.

The game tells another story in Ninja-kun series. This time it’s a platform game with some twists. There are two tasks alternating through levels: you are required either to kill every enemy in the level (as in the previous games) or simply to reach the exit. Running into enemies usually won’t kill you, however if you are hit by a single projectile, you’ll have to start from a checkpoint. Enemies vary from plain ninjas to giant skeletons or killer fish. Each level has a time limit, and when this limit is close to an end a fire wheel of death will appear on the screen, chasing Ninja-kun. Ninja-kun has some techniques for successful progression though the levels: many enemies can be temporarily stunned by jumping on them or hitting them from below; and ninja can obtain some power-ups including boomerang, bombs, a devastating fire attack or invincibility. Ninja-kun is capable of wall climbing and wall jumping, the latter requiring some practice from the player. The levels (called “scenes” in-game) are scattered through mountains, caves, beaches and underwater locations. You can choose which set of levels you’ll start in by playing a mini-game at the beginning.
