Oasis Road is a game in which the player controls a group of kids that lives in a future world that is all in the desert, They will have to explore the world (specially the ancient ruins of old cities) in search of rare items and make new travel routes. The game could be different depending of the objects found. During their journeys they will have to face different dangers and enemies. The gameplay in battles are the classic turn based rpg. The game map will be drawing during the journeys showing the objects and items that are in each place. At the beginning of the game the player can choose his character between 18 different characters (male or famale ones) and he can also change the character name.
The history of Oasis Road begins with the loss of a paradise protected by the tree of life, and a god of destruction known as Vrtra's Flame. Some 3000 years of civilization is gradually changing the continent to a frozen wasteland. A large influx of people has migrated to the warmer south, where farmers settle down to grow crops. Less and less people can be found in cities as they lean closer to ruin. Industry becomes obsolete, while industrial skills are lost along with it. Contact between cities is scant, and those cities who are not self-sufficient are buried in the sand. In essence, mankind is working its way to the path of extinction.
