In this second part of River City Saga: Three Kingdoms, our beloved hot-blooded high-schooler from River City, Kunio (Guan Yu) charges his way through to the apex chapter of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the Battle of Wuzhang Plains. River City Girls 2: Double Dragon DLC is an upcoming DLC for River City Girls 2 which adds in Billy and Jimmy from Double Dragon as playable characters.

Picking up shortly after the original, River City Girls 2 once again put you in control of Misako and Kyoko - as well as Kunio, Riki, and a few new characters - as they set out on an all-new beat-'em-up adventure across the mean streets of River City. New moves, new enemies, new recruits, new environments, and the return of an old foe await, along with the same over-the-top sense of humor and adrenaline-pumping combat of its predecessor. The game will also feature two-player co-op action both locally and online.

You control Satsuki Kiryuin as the main protagonist of this game and proceed along with the story while battling against various characters. All scenarios are completely new and fully supervised under the watchful eyes of the original scenario-writer, Kazuki Nakashima. You will be experiencing the story unfold from the perspective of Satsuki Kiryuin, the rival of the original series' protagonist Ryuko.

River City Girls stars Kyoko and Misako, two street-tough high-schoolers who must fight their way through the six regions of River City to rescue their kidnapped boyfriends, series mainstays Kunio and Riki.
