A large cast of Touhou characters are included, as well as a number of references and cameos of other role-playing, anime, and danmaku titles. A sequel, Labyrinth of Touhou 2 was released at Comiket 84.
Touhou Soccer Moushuuden is a Touhou Project fangame that's a stand-alone expansion to Touhou Soccer that adds various new features to the original game. It includes the original game's Main Scenario mode, and adds sub-scenarios for a number of characters in which you can unlock new moves. The Super Robot Wars-inspired Touhou Project crossover Gensou Shoujo Wars first launched on PC in 2010 and is now releasing on Nintendo Switch in 2021. The game, fusion of bullet hell and strategy RPG, “depicts a Gensokyo epic of overwhelming scale, including the bonds between characters, and a thorough arrangement of character backgrounds and stories from their original works.” It features over 70 playable characters, as well as “impactful battle animations, dialogue scenes the fans want to see, cut-ins for every character, different theme songs for each character, and a variety of songs to match the scenario.”
