Based on the Superman Animated Series, you play as Superman saving citizens in Metropolis and battling villains like Lex Luthor, Metallo, Livewire, Parasite and Darkseid. It uses cel-shaded graphics and voice-actors from the tv series.

Superman Returns is a video game based on the movie of the same name, It was developed by EA Tiburon and published by Electronic Arts in conjunction with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics. It features a story arc from the movie, which was released on June 28, 2006, and more than 60 years of comic book content. EA Tiburon, known for its Madden NFL game series, has claimed that the game combines strong creative vision and compelling new technology to deliver a powerful and emotional gaming experience to their consumers, and they will experience a real sense of flying while mastering Superman's superhero powers to save Metropolis. In the game, Superman combats Bizarro, who does not appear in the movie, as well as other classic villains (including Mongul) as well as being able to play as Bizarro for a short period of time in one of the many minigames inserted into the game. The game was produced for the Xbox 360 as well as the Playstation 2 and Nintendo DS. A port for the PlayStation Portable was planned but cancelled due to it not having enough power to support the game. Electronic Arts and Warner Bros. Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes is the fifth Marvel Comics-licensed fighting game by Capcom and the third game in the Marvel vs. Capcom series. The Flash is an action video game based on the DC Comics superhero of the same name. It was developed and manufactured by Sega and Probe Entertainment for the Sega Master System in 1993. The game's release followed approximately two years after the cancellation of The Flash TV series on CBS.

X-Men: Children of the Atom is an arcade game featuring characters licensed from Marvel Comics. Timed with the popularity of the mid-1990s X-Men animated series, the game incorporates voice actors from the show reprising their respective roles. The gameplay involves one-on-one fighting matches, where players face off against different characters in the game. Mr. Do! is an arcade game created by Universal in 1982. Similar in some ways to Namco's popular Dig Dug title, Mr. Do! was also popular and saw release on a variety of home video game consoles and systems. It is the first game in the Mr. Do series, and was released both as a standalone game and as a conversion kit (released by Taito Corp.) for existing arcade cabinets. It was one of the first arcade games to be released as a conversion kit, and went on to sell 30,000 units in the United States. It was also a popular choice on the 1983 video arcade-based game show Starcade.

In the Catwoman game, the main Batman villainess gets her own storyline. Talia attempts to hire Catwoman for a mission to steal a crystal skull, but Catwoman decides to keep the valuable item for herself, unaware that Ra's al Ghul intends to use it to destroy Gotham. Catwoman possesses a variety of moves to help her traverse and combat enemies across nine levels filled with adversaries and platforms. She can utilise her claws for attacks, perform wall jumps, flips, ledge grabs, and swing with her whip. Additionally, she has a stealth option that enables her to blend into the level's background, allowing her to move silently and unnoticed.

Avengers in Galactic Storm is a 1995 fighting arcade game based on characters in the Marvel universe, primarily the Avengers but also the Kree. The game's plot and roster of playable characters are based on the Operation: Galactic Storm story arc. This was one of Data East's last fighting games, as well as their third and last game based on The Avengers.
