The Neverhood

A Japan exclusive entry in the Neverhood franchise. This game was developed with no involvement from the original team in an effort to capitalize on the popularity of the characters in the Japanese market. The game is essentially air hockey but you shoot the puck with guns.

Save the world in this hilarious free-roam arena based combat game. Join Boomer and his friends as they try to free the Earth's cats from the Feline Aliens. Battle until your bolts pop out, using projectile weapons, hand-to-hand combat and grapple moves. Or collect power-balls to achieve the all-powerful mongo-mode and quickly turn the evil Boombots into scrap metal. The cats of the world are counting on you. Hilarious story line keeps you laughing, attack your opponent from anywhere in the free-roam, combat arenas, fight as any of the 15 characters in 15 arenas, each with unique characteristics, use projectile weapons, hand-to-hand combat, grapple moves and the mongo-mode in over 12 different simple-to-operate combinations to destroy the competition.

Something has gone seriously wrong in Klayman's homeland -- Klogg, an evil megalomaniac, wants to destroy the land and basically rule over anything and everyone. Because the task can get difficult at times, he has enlisted the service of fearsome ape-like creatures, Skullmonkeys, to aid in the destruction of planet Idznak. Needless to say, it is up to the player to stop Klogg and his devious plans. Much like The Neverhood, Skullmonkeys is a 2D platformer built entirely of Claymation characters, enemies, and environments. Throughout the game's seven worlds spanning ninety levels, the basic objective of each is to destroy as many Skullmonkeys as possible. Destroying the simians can be done one of two ways: firing projectile weapons or butt-bouncing off their heads.

Well, "dead" is just a matter of opinion... Everything revolves around the dreaded Necronomicon and how it affects the protagonists' lives. Grizzled detective Don R. Ketype wants it because he always gets his man (or book); and easy going, easy living librarian Buzz Kerwan stumbles upon it and accidentally transforms his cat, Kitteh, into a talking abomination, thus setting on a quest to return her back to cathood.

"Rusty Lake Paradise is set on a small remote island in the 18th Century. After your mother passed away the island seems to be cursed with the 10 plagues. It's your job to go around the island, interact with your family and help them vanquish the plague. The game offers ominous situations and bizarre rituals. Paradise builds upon the distinctive atmosphere and excitement from the Rusty Lake series. For the background graphics we collaborated with a well-known Dutch artist, Johan Scherft."

BLACKSAD: Under the Skin - A dark corruption scandal in the heart of the New York City's underworld for charismatic detective John Blacksad! Based on the noir comic series by the same name. The game features a noir detective story about a PI by the name of Blacksad that gets dragged into the case of a murdered boxing club. The game feature an interactive system much reminiscent of Grim Fandango where you have direct control of the character and only things that catch his gaze is interactable.
