Tokimeki Memorial 4 is a dating sim developed and published by Konami, the fourth game in the Tokimeki Memorial series and also the first original game in the series to debut on a portable system. The game celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Tokimeki Memorial franchise. A special edition package of the game included an OVA, the soundtrack, a character box, and sketches from the artists of the game. It also featured the return of the Tree of Legend from the first Tokimeki Memorial game, as well as the return of the Kirameki High school setting, set 15 years after the first game.

She has her mind set on retrieving “sunken treasure”. Chisa, an old friend with whom Hiroki reconnects on the island, provides some insight. “The Ghost Ship―that's what we call one of the shipwrecks around here." It’s said that the treasure Emily is after lies in a shipwreck that disappears each time there’s a storm. Emily, the beautiful blonde-haired girl. Chisa, the childhood friend with golden, suntanned skin. This summer, pass the days on a tropical island with two beautiful girls, scuba diving, and adventure! Their destination: the “Ghost Ship”. Somewhere just past where the sky meets the sea...

The game's original story, involves Kazuma discovering a cursed ring that allows him to steal the underwear of others near him. He learns the only way to undo the curse would be through raising enough money. The game's "Underwear Judgment" system revolves the player controlling Kazuma in returning lost underwear to their rightful owners.
