Imagine a world where 'toons rule the road and the demolition derby is a way of life. In Cel Damage, the world's toughest 'toons face off against each other in souped-up, weapon-laden vehicles to out-maneuver, out-race, and out-smack each other for personal glory. These gas-powered gladiators battle it out in highly interactive cartoon environments where they can roam freely, discover hidden areas, interact with set gag pieces (such as the 100 ton weight), perform stunts, and whack the heck out of their opponents. And with a host of wild weapons, such as giant boxing gloves and baseball bats, at their disposal, these 'toons with attitude take part in vehicular combat as it has never been seen before.
Twisted Metal consists of a series of arena-based battles against an increasing number of opponents in increasingly large arenas. These battles culminate in a face-off with the winner of the previous year's competition, Darkside, who drives a large armored car which fires multiple missiles at once. Players can choose one of 12 different vehicles with which to enter combat. Each vehicle has a distinct driver and special move. The controls consist of accelerator, brake, "tight turn" (essentially a handbrake) and turbo on the face buttons, with main weapons and machine gun selection and control on the shoulder buttons. Arenas are populated with weapon pickups to re-supply missile stocks, repair stations for repairing damage to your car, pedestrians, and course stewards armed with either machine guns or missile launchers.
Twisted Metal III is a vehicular combat game released in 1998 for the PlayStation. Players control weaponized vehicles in arena-based battles, aiming to destroy opponents and survive each round. The game features new characters, levels, and a redesigned physics engine. It introduced a new developer, 989 Studios, following the departure of the original creators. Reception was mixed, with criticism focused on controls and design changes.

Lead a five-person squad on a mission to neutralize those responsible for the elimination of a NATO Special Forces team in this continuation of Sony's squad-based shooter series. Fourteen single-player missions are part of a six-day battle in Southeast Asia, with an enemy AI designed to follow authentic squad tactics in response to your decisions on the battlefield. Issue orders to your fellow soldiers with a context-based command system, while calling for the support of UAV surveillance drones and aerial strikes when needed. Utilize cover to protect your squad from attacks as you attempt to take out the enemy's defensive positions with explosive devices and heavy munitions. As you progress, you'll be able to expand your offensive arsenal by collecting the weapons from fallen foes. In addition to the single-player campaign, SOCOM 4 also includes competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes. Both the PlayStation Move and traditional Dual Shock controllers are supported as well.
In the far reaches of space, factions of humanity battle over a rare and dangerous resource known as Rift Energy. Colonies of humans called Rifters have been exploring the "Frontier" of planets, but find their way of life threatened by the Outcast, a ruthless species of humans who have mutated into psychotic monsters due to exposure to this very same Rift Energy. Caught in the middle is Emmett Graves, a hired gunslinger ostracized from society because of his own exposure to Rift Energy, leaving him partially mutated, but still able to retain his humanity. Graves is drawn back to his home settlement to face a mysterious outlaw and his war band of Outcast warriors. Starhawk provides fast paced third-person shooter action set in this lawless frontier of space, allowing players to instantly alter the battlefield by calling down offensive and defensive structures in real-time from an orbiting drop ship, all while blasting away at enemies in the middle of huge single-player or multi-player firefights.
