Vs. Pinball

Pinball is a game where the player controls the paddles of a virtual pinball machine. The game has two screens to represent the traditional pinball table and one for a bonus mode. Play begins when the player launches a ball with the plunger from first screen through the top of the screen to the second screen. Play will move to the first screen if the ball falls through the bottom of the top screen and will return to the top screen if the ball is hit back through the space at the top of the first screen. If the ball falls through the hole to the right bottom at the top level, the player will enter a mini-game featuring Mario and Lady. The player controls the paddles on either screen to deflect the ball to keep it from falling off the bottom of the lower screen.

Pinball is a Multi Screen Game & Watch game released in December of 1983. Nintendo manufactured around 250,000 units of the game worldwide. It's basically just a portable pinball game where you control two flippers. The goal is to keep the ball above the flippers by hitting it. The ball will then go in a fairly random direction and hit the bumpers, thus giving the player points. The model number for the game was PB-59, with PB standing for Pinball.

Namco's first independently designed video arcade game, Gee Bee combines gameplay elements of pinball and Breakout. There are two paddles, one at the bottom and one in the middle, that stay aligned when moving, so players must pay attention to both when bouncing the ball. There are blocks at the top, sides. and in two tiny compartments on the sides near the bottom. There is also a third, stationary, vertically-oriented paddle in the middle, as well as bumpers to give it a pinball feel. Scoring depends on what objects you hit. This was the first of three similar games designed and developed by Toru Iwatani, the creator of Pac-Man.
