WitchSpring R is a story-based RPG that combines elements of training, collecting, and exploring. It is a remake of the 2015 mobile title WitchSpring. Outside, you can enjoy collecting magical ingredients, fighting against warriors and monsters, and developing stories with various characters. At home, you can enjoy training your own witch by scheduling training, and fusing magic ingredients that can be collected from the field. The witch's ending is enriched by the player's choice and the witch's growth.

A lonely witch "Eirudy" who escaped from the witch hunt of an army and warriors, lives quietly in the remote deep forest. One day, a lonely girl whose only friend is a puppet meets an adventurous young man named "Adrian" in the forest cave, setting in motion the gears of a great fate that will determine the future of the gods and humanity.

The game is set on the Ürphea Continent, after the Witch Hunts of the previous three games have concluded. It follows up on a plot thread revealed in Witch Spring 3's post-game. The new protagonist is Moccamori, the current queen of Ürphea. Having suppressed the Spring War on the continent and becoming queen, she now seeks to conquer the remaining two continents.
