Dynasty Warriors 4 is a hack and slash video game and the fourth installment in the popular Dynasty Warriors series. Dynasty Warriors 4 was developed by Omega Force and is based on a series of books called Romance of the Three Kingdoms, written by Luo Guanzhong. As the series has progressed, it has strayed further from the actual plot of Romance of the Three Kingdoms but instead has given the user more input on how the storyline progresses. Originally released on the PS2 in March 2003, it was later ported to the Xbox in September of the same year and, in 2005, ported to the PC under the name Dynasty Warriors 4 Hyper.

A portable version of Dynasty Warriors released for the PSP in 2004 in Japan and in 2005 in North America and Europe, being one of the launch titles for this console in both North America and Japan. It adds new modes to the Dynasty Warrior franchise. Unlike previous games, it allows the player to have up to four deployable officers to accompany them during battle. These officers range from characters who are otherwise playable to generic officers with unique skills and traits.

Sengoku Basara Sanada Yukimura Den is a spinoff game focusing on the life of one of the series' main characters, Sanada Yukimura, released August 25, 2016. This entry marks the beginning of the Retsuden Series, which was abandoned after poor sales of this game. As such this title marks the last entry in Sengoku Basara series as a whole.

Sengoku Basara 4 is the latest entry to the Sengoku Basara series by Capcom and was released for the PlayStation 3 on January 23, 2014. The game focuses on the theme of Sengoku Genesis and centers around the beginning of the Sengoku Period. There is also an expansion to the game called Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi. For this entry in the series, character design was passed to Tooru Ookubo, chief designer for the anime series, instead of series standby Makoto Tsuchibayashi.

Delta Force: Urban Warfare is a first-person shooter by developer and publisher NovaLogic. It was designed to be a military simulation loosely based on the Delta Force special operations force. The storyline spans twelve missions, including a bank robbery, hostage rescue, and an assault on an offshore oil rig.

Samurai Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends is the first standalone expansion of the 2009 title Samurai Warriors 3. The game introduces two new modes, the "Original Career" mode which allows the opportunity to create original scenarios by completing missions and acquiring gold to increase the player's abilities and strength, as well as the series staple "Challenge" mode that has three challenges of varying objectives. It also adds new weapons, items, two new difficulty levels ("Novice" and "Hell") and stories for characters that did not have them in the original. You can connect with three other players for a four-player online bout on Xbox Live, and as a "sort-of" team, you then proceed to smack infinite nameless thugs into polygonal paste. The game works one way: Four humans against the computer AI. You've got a punch, kick, jump, and grapple move, and when pressed multiple times, each button ignites combos. By grappling an enemy from various angles and by pressing the Dpad in different directions when executing the throw renders various satisfying hurls.

Dynasty Warriors 3 is the third installment of the Dynasty Warriors series in North America and the second within the Shin Sangoku Musou series in Japan. It is a spin-off from the video game Romance of the Three Kingdoms and based around a series of books by the same name, written by Luo Guanzhong. The game contains a number of fictional and non-fictional elements from the same era in Chinese history that Romance of the Three Kingdoms is set. However, it follows the main events of part of the story which is to unify China under the single rule of a kingdom.
