This sinister expansion revolves around the dark influence of the Old Gods, ancient and unspeakably evil creatures that have long lain hidden, imprisoned in the dark places of the world millennia ago. Despite their imprisonment, these shadowy beings' influence can be felt in every corner of Azeroth, twisting and corrupting any who hear their maddening whispers. With an army of followers performing forbidden empowerment rituals, the tentacles of these massive horrors are growing rapidly toward the light, eager to bring their own kind of excitement to the sunlit kingdoms and merry taverns of Azeroth. The expansion features legendary minion cards for each of the four Old Gods - C'Thun, Yogg-Saron, N'Zoth and Y'Shaarj - along with a crowd of frenzied cultists working overtime to empower these mighty horrors in preparation for their return. The expansion also sees some familiar faces corrupted into frightening new forms, as well as new scaling effects in the form of Forbidden spells.

Goblins vs Gnomes (often abbreviated as GvG) is the first expansion for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. The second infusion of new cards to be added to the game, the expansion features 143 new cards (123 of which are collectible), with a strong mechanical theme, and introduced the Mech minion type, as well as debuting the long-awaited spectator mode.

The Grand Tournament is Hearthstone's second expansion, launched August 24th, 2015. With more than 130 new cards, the expansion features a strong theme of Hero Power-related effects, as well as seeing the introduction of the first full new keyword since the game's release - Inspire - allowing minions to grant special effects each time the player uses their Hero Power. It also introduced a new non-keyword mechanic, Joust.

Blackrock Mountain is Hearthstone's second adventure. Home to Ragnaros the Firelord and his fire elementals, Nefarian and the black dragonflight, and an army of Dark Iron dwarves, the adventure features 5 wings, with 17 boss encounters in total, and provides 31 new collectible cards for players to add to their collections, as well as a new card backs and a new battlefield. The adventure features a Heroic mode and 9 Class Challenges.

The League of Explorers is Hearthstone's third adventure. The adventure contains 4 wings, with 13 boss encounters, as well as a Heroic mode and 9 Class Challenges. In addition to the usual boss battles, the adventure also debuts a new kind of encounter - where the player must survive through several rounds of traps, ambushes and environmental events to escape to safety. The adventure adds 45 new collectible cards, as well as new card backs and 2 new battlefields. The League of Explorers sees the player following four famed adventurers - Elise Starseeker, Reno Jackson, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, and Brann Bronzebeard - on a journey through some of Azeroth's most exotic and dangerous locations, on a quest to recover an ancient Titan artifact - the Staff of Origination. As each wing is completed, players gather pieces of the Staff, and put them on display in the museum. However, the League of Explorers are not the only ones searching for the artifact, and danger waits within the shadows.

One Night in Karazhan is Hearthstone's fourth adventure. The adventure features 13 bosses, spread across four wings (plus a free introductory encounter), as well as a more challenging Heroic mode, and 9 Class Challenges. The adventure features 45 new collectible cards, as well as a new battlefield and 2 new card backs. One Night in Karazhan sees players return to the reimagined glory days of the mystical tower of Karazhan, when a young Medivh was not only the Guardian of Azeroth, but also its most eligible bachelor. After earning the admiration of all through foiling the schemes of the fiendish Arch-Thief Rafaam, emerging triumphant from the Grand Tournament, and resisting even the whispers of the Old Gods themselves, the player is invited to a magical one night-only party that is sure to be talked about for centuries. However, upon arriving, the player finds Medivh missing, and the tower's magical enchantments run amok, turning delightful tricks into deadly traps. It's up to the player to find Medivh, restore order to the crazed tower, and save the day - just in time for the tower's big night.

Curse of Naxxramas is Hearthstone's first adventure. Set in the Scourge necropolis of Naxxramas, Curse of Naxxramas is a five-wing adventure, with each wing representing one of the wings of the World of Warcraft Naxxramas raid instance. The adventure features a total of 30 new collectible cards, gained through completing various aspects of the adventure and a new battlefield. The wings of the adventure must be purchased with gold or real money before they can be played or their cards can be collected. The adventure itself comprises a series of unique boss battles distributed among the wings. Players are able to tackle bosses in several different difficulty modes: the basic Normal mode, the grueling Heroic mode, or Class Challenges bringing strategic twists to existing boss encounters using special pre-selected decks.

Set in the bustling, lawless port city of Gadgetzan, the expansion features characters from the city's three ruling crime families - the brutish Grimy Goons, the shadowy assassins of the Jade Lotus, and the crazed spellcasters of the Kabal. With their own minions, spells and weapons, each family is formed from an allegiance of three different Hearthstone classes, resulting in tri-class cards, usable by heroes of any of those three classes.

Scholomance Academy introduces the new Spellburst keyword, an effect that triggers the first time you cast a spell with the minion on board. It also adds dual-class cards, double majors that can be used by either class and combines themes and mechanics from both.

Forged in the Barrens will launch worldwide with 135 new collectible cards! Set in the dusty savannah territory of the Barrens, a literal crossroads where tauren, troll, and orc adventurers gather to prove their worth. Mercenaries of old and newcomers alike train for an upcoming conflict with the Alliance. This set introduced the new keyword, Frenzy, which causes a minion to do something the first time it takes damage as long as it survived the attack. Additionally, it added seven Spell schools to the game; Arcane, Fel, Fire, Frost, Holy, Nature, and Shadow. This applies to new spells but also old ones, opening up many new synergies.

Heroes of the Storm is a multiplayer online battle arena video game by Blizzard Entertainment. Battle Brothers is a turn based strategy RPG mix which has you leading a mercenary company in a gritty, low-power, medieval fantasy world. You decide where to go, whom to hire or to fight, what contracts to take and how to train and equip your men in a procedurally generated open world campaign.
