Perimeter 2: New Earth is the long-awaited sequel of the critically acclaimed RTS Perimeter. Ideas of territorial gameplay and landscape modification, introduced in the original game, are now realized on a new concept & technology level. The Vista Game Engine enhances the dynamics and depth of gameplay, turning the battlefield into an arena for the confrontation of two elements - ground and water. Story of Perimeter 2 continues the events from the original game. The Exodus, lead by the wise Spirits has been searching for the New Earth. The Harkback have lost faith in Spirits, overthrew their rule and decided to head back for the Old Earth, not believing its death. They refused to believe in the death of their planet. Both sides took the final step on their way, and mortal enemies entered the same planet face to face.

Perimeter: Emperor's Testament is a standalone add-on to Perimeter.

Perimeter is an innovative Real-Time-Strategy game that pits players against each other or AI opponents in a life and death struggle to seize territory and establish critical protective “perimeters.” Players will be introduced to the game’s unique “terraforming” feature, allowing them to move, build, construct and destroy the map environment. Set in a future where the Exodus civilization has abandoned the dying Earth, the game offers a well-balanced combination of new terraforming principles and territorial wars with traditional strategy elements.

Dark Reign narrowly beat Total Annihilation as the first RTS to incorporate 3D movement and positioning. This increases the strategic advantage of hills and mountains. Each mission puts you in the role of commander of either the Imperial army or the Freedom fighters in a campaign to undermine and eventually destroy the opposing force. This game has many unusual features for the RTS genre. AI patterns you to simply give a unit the order "Search and Destroy" and it would drive off towards the enemy's last known location, in search for something to kill. There is also "explore" mode which let your units do all the map exploring for you. A mission/campaign editor is also provided.

Like the original, Ground Control II is not a standard base-building RTS game. There is no technical upgrade tree, and no mining for gold, crystals, or any other random mineral to be used as a monetary source. New units are acquired by spending acquisition points which collect throughout the battle. If the player has a large force, the points will come in very slowly. While the army is small, the points will come in at faster rate. More points can be earned by destroying enemy units, or by capturing special locations called victory locations. Additional units are called in via dropship, which will land in designated landing zones. The player must hold at least one of these landing zones in order to receive these reinforcements. Acquisition points can also be spent on dropship upgrades which include more cargo space, speed, fuel capacity, armor, and weapons.

It even supports single player co-op.

Thunder Brigade is a PC game released in 1998. It is an action/arcade tank sim game which involves piloting floating tanks in a sci-fi universe shooting down enemy tanks and destroying enemy installations. The war is fought between 3 contrasting factions on numerous worlds. Developed and published by Interactive Magic and Bluemoon interactive, Thunder Brigade features a 30-mission campaign mode, dozens of single scenarios as well as a scenario editor with almost limitless posiblities. Originaly, the game featured an online multiplayer mode which was similar to single scenario and featured an editor. Unfortunatly, the main connection type, "play on imagic.com" has now closed down so multiplayer no longer works properly. Thunder Brigade however is still popular today thanks to it's addictive gameplay, imaginative universe and the almost infinite possibilities of the scenario editor.
