Shinzui Taikyoku Igo: Go Sennin is a Board game, developed by Jorudan and published by J-Wing, which was released in Japan in 1995.

A Famicom-only Mahjong game that teaches a specific variant called "Attack Mahjong" and one of many Mahjong games presented by expert Ide Yosuke. It also had its own special Mahjong controller. One of a series of Mahjong games presented by Ide Yosuke (sort of the Dr Kawashima of early Mahjong titles), Ide Yosuke Meijin no Jissen Mahjong (or "Ide Yosuke: Master of Attack Mahjong") is a Mahjong game that teaches a very specific gameplay variant. Ide Yosuke Meijin no Jissen Mahjong also came with its own special Mahjong controller that resembles a keyboard. The game is unplayable without it.

An instructional Shogi game, that teaches the Japanese version of chess. It is hosted by Tanigawa Kouji, a top-tier Shogi player. It was released for the Famicom Disk System, NES and MSX. Shogi, a Japanese board game similar to chess, is a board game as popular as Mahjong in Japan. Tanigawa Kouji no Shogi Shinan II ("Tanigawa Kouji's Instructional Shogi II") is the second in a series of instructional Shogi games hosted by then-top tier champion and expert Shogi player Tanigawa Kouji to help improve the player's game. The first Tanigawa Kouji no Shogi Shinan was only released on MSX home computers, though this game first came out on the Famicom Disk System in 1987. It would later receive additional versions for the MSX and the regular cartridge-based Famicom in 1988. There also exists a second Famicom Disk System version, released after the MSX and Famicom ports, that contains additional puzzle arrangements. The third game in the series would only be released on the Famicom. Neither this game nor any of the games in the series were ever released outside of Japan.

Ide Yousuke Meijin no Jissen Mahjong II is a Miscellaneous game, developed by Arc System Works and published by Capcom, which was released in Japan in 1991.

Mahjong Kazoku is a Mahjong game released only in Japan for the Famicom Disk System. Mahjong Kazoku ("Mahjong Family") is a standard Mahjong simulation game for Nintendo's Famicom Disk System. It is a one-on-one version of the game, rather than the standard four-player board game arrangement, and it incorporates many of the various and byzantine scoring rules of the game. Irem developed and published the game but left a mysterious licensing credit to Ox Inc. on the title screen. It's possible the game is a port of an obscure Japanese Mahjong computer game, or at least borrows some of its coding for the AI opponent or scoring systems.

Bishoujo Janshi Suchie-Pai ("Pretty Fighter Suchie-Pai") is the first game in what would later be referred to as the Idol Janshi Suchie-Pai series. It's a mahjong game that uses comedy and attractive women to stand out among its more serious peers. The player, as the transforming warrior Suchie-Pai, can move around a world map to challenge various other female characters at mahjong in any order. The characters were designed by Kenichi Sonoda, a famous animator and manga artist best known for the anime and manga Gunsmith Cats, who also worked on Bubblegum Crisis and Gall Force.

A Super Famicom mahjong game featuring the artwork of the manga artist Yuujin (U-Jin). It is the sequel to the 1993 game Yuujin: Janjyu Gakuen. Yuujin: Janjyu Gakuen 2 (lit. "U-Jin: Sparrow Beast School 2") is a 1994 mahjong game and a continuation of Yuujin: Janjyu Gakuen. The player once again takes to the streets to help out their fellow students at the eponymous school, usually via mahjong matches. The game features the artwork of the mononymed manga artist Yuujin (U-Jin). While U-Jin is best known for his eroge (adult manga) works, the game does not depict any pornographic imagery due to Nintendo's strict content rules. The game was not localized into English nor released outside of Japan.
