A version for the PC Engine was released on December 6, 1991. Based on the arcade version of Salamander, changes on this port include starting from a pre-defined checkpoint upon death in 1 Player mode, faster enemy animations, and improved music.

Otomedius Excellent is an Xbox 360 game and the sequel to the 2007 arcade game Otomedius by Konami, which is a spin-off of the side-shooting game Gradius series. It was released in March 2011 in Japan and early November of 2011. Otomedius Excellent features a single player campaign with a new story, and a Multiplay mode in which 2 other players can play in. Players with an Xbox Live subscription can play online with other players in Score Attack mode and check their scores against other players on the Leaderboard. Alternate costumes and new stages were made available after release.

Otomedius Gorgeous is the Xbox 360 port of Otomedius Arcade, a side scrolling shooter by Konami which featured personification of space fighters from various Konami games like Gradius, Xexex, Salamander and Parodius. The name is a pun, being a portmanteau of the terms "otome" (meaning "maiden" in Japanese) and "Gradius". It was released for the Japanese Xbox 360 in November 20, 2008.

Arcade Archives: Life Force is a port of the shooting game Life Force. The player will challenge against the aggressions from the Bacterian special force known as Salamander. This title will include Salamander which is the Japanese version of the game, and Life Force which is rearranged as the Japanese version of Life Force that was released in 1987 in Japan.

Arcade Archives: Gradius is a port of the shooting game Gradius. Players control the Super Dimension fighter Vic Viper and fight Bacterian with the aid of devastating power-ups. This shooting game is the first of a masterpiece series from Konami that had a major impact on later shooters.

Aliens is an arcade game based loosely on the 1986 movie Aliens. M.A.D. (which stands for Missile Attack and Defense) is an arcade action game somewhat similar to Missile Command. You control a photon cannon at the bottom of the screen, and your goal is to protect six energy stations located to your left and right. Waves of rockets and other ships will fly by on the screen, and occasionally one will drop in an attempt to destroy one of the stations (as a warning on most levels, the enemy will turn white just before it drops). You need to make sure you shoot it before your energy station is destroyed! When all six energy stations are gone, the game is over. A two player variation is also included; one player will control the photon cannon, and the second player controls a cursor and can select when and where an enemy will drop. The players alternate between offense and defense in this version.

Physical MD versions will be published by SUPERDELUXE GAMES in Japan and by Limited Run Games in North America. The game will also get a 16:9 version for modern platforms. Earthion is published under the label YKGGG, a brand name covering all the retro-style games developed at Ancient. If Earthion meets success, Ancient will go on the venture of releasing video games designed for retro consoles. A separate version of the game for Arcade was confirmed by Ancient and published by exA-Arcadia, which features a new, exclusive mode that will not be available in the Mega Drive version.
