The game takes place in the world of Fillujah, a world where all people have their own flying companion creature. The core three members of the cast (Raj, Amu, and Ist) are the primary protagonists, while the game plot involves them meeting up with characters from across the entire Summon Night series.

Summon Night 5 is a tactical role-playing game in the Summon Night series of games. The game involves the player moving characters in a turn based fashion across a large grid from an adjustable isometric perspective. At the beginning of the game, the player can chose to play as either a male or female protagonist, and chose from 4 separate "Cross" (partner) characters. Which combinations are selected affect both the dialogue and story progression, leading to eight separate paths to take through the game. The world of Summon Night changed dramatically for this entry. Now the medieval setting changed completely to a more contemporary world mixed with many of the other cultures and tribes already present in other Summon Night games. The stage for this title is the city of Savorle, a model city in this new era where people from all the different world can coexist.

In their journeys they will face different kind of enemies and could talk to different characters and they can change their equipment in the shops. The game uses a first person perspective in the adventure part and a third person perspective in the battle part. The battle part is the classic turn based rpg style. The game features a high degree of freedom since the character can get married and have children and each time that the game is played the circunstances can changed so there are a lot of different endings.

Lunar Wing - Toki wo Koeta Seisen is a love-themed strategy RPG in which players take part in battles using the game's active time simulation battle system while attempting to earn the affection of bishojo ( used to refer to young and pretty girls, usually below university age) characters.

Spectral Tower II is the second game in the RPG series released by Idea Factory for the PlayStation One console, the game begins with an intro in which the adventurer arrive to a town and after that he will meet another adventurer that will take him to the ruins of the evil tower that is located in the desert. The gameplay is in third person perspective using an overview view meanwhile the player is exploring the different floors of each tower, and also a third person perspective for the battle parts.

Toki no Michishirube is a direct sequel to the first Farland Saga game. It is an anime-style strategy RPG which consists mainly of large strategic battles, taking place on isometric battle fields.

Bounty Sword is a tactical strategy role-playing game set in a fictional futuristic world with a power struggle looming between Europea and the Kingdom of Rheinmetall. Kuroi Hitomi no Noah: Cielgris Fantasm plays mostly like traditional Japanese-style RPGs such as Breath of Fire: the protagonist travels on the map and interacts with various people, and in her travels, also encounters monsters that she must fight. The encounters are typical turn-based battles in which the player assigns actions to be performed by the party members. However, Noah has the ability to befriend monsters and can recruit them when they have been weakened. They can then be summoned in battle to fight alongside the party members. At the end of battle, the participating members and monsters gain experience points to increase their level.
