The Lord of the Rings Online: Kingdoms of Harad is the thirteenth expansion for the MMORPG, The Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO). This expansion increases the level cap to 160 and concludes the epic, The Song of Waves and Wind. In this expansion, players travel into Harad to fight Morgoth's forces and features over 400 new quests.

The Lord of the Rings Online: Legacy of Morgoth is the twelfth expansion for the MMORPG, The Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO). In this new expansion, players must venture to the deserts and marshlands of Near Harad. The expansion continues the epic questline, Song of Waves and Wind, and features 350+ new quests.

Siege of Mirkwood will expand the online world of Middle-earth where players will join forces to press further eastward into the dark, foreboding and treacherous forest of Mirkwood and take part in the epic conclusion to Volume II of The Lord of the Rings Online. Siege of Mirkwood will be available as a digital download this Fall with an increased level cap, a new region including the legendary evil fortress of Dol Goldur, major enhancements to combat and Legendary Items and the introduction of Skirmishes, a new system where players will train customizable soldiers and take them into battle as part of the War of the Ring.

The Lord of the Rings Online: Corsairs of Umbar is the eleventh expansion for the MMORPG The Lord of the Rings Online. Corsairs of Umbar introduces the new innovative New Mariner Class, a fearless swordfighter with a unique balance system. Players can unleash powerful skill sequences in their swordplay to create powerful skill chains that leave their enemies in a daze and allies in awe. Slash through foes with slick swordplay, belt out rousing sea-shanties, and pull off crafty moves that will have enemies spinning in confusion.

The Lord of the Rings Online: Fate of Gundabad is the ninth expansion for the MMORPG The Lord of the Rings Online. It is a direct sequel to the previous year's War of Three Peaks expansion and concludes the storyline that has been developing over several updates. The expansion raised the level cap to 140, added the region of Gundabad, a new Brawler class and brought a major change to the Legendary Item system introduced in the Mines of Moria.

The Lord of the Rings Online: Minas Morgul is the seventh expansion. It raised the game's level cap from 120 to 130 and added the Morgul Vale and dead city of Minas Morgul as well as seven new group instances and a new raid set in Shelob's lair. The expansion also introduced the seventh playable race of Stout-Axe Dwarves, whom players who pre-ordered it could access prior to the release date.

The Lord of the Rings Online: Before the Shadow is the tenth expansion for the MMORPG The Lord of the Rings Online. It did not raise the game's level cap or advance the current storyline, but instead added a new starting zone for the new player experience, with a storyline set prior to that of the Shadows of Angmar.

The Lord of the Rings Online: War of Three Peaks is the eighth expansion for the MMORPG The Lord of the Rings Online. Announced as a "mini-expansion pack", it is smaller than other expansions in both scope and price, comparable to 2009's Siege of Mirkwood. Unlike all previous expansions, it did not raise the game's level cap. Instead, a new type of quests called "Missions" was introduced, which scale to the player character's level, allowing players across all levels to participate.

Riders of Rohan expands the online world of Middle-earth where players join forces to ride into the Plains of Rohan. Riders of Rohan includes an increased level cap, the vast plains of Rohan including iconic locations such as Amon Hen and Fangorn Forest, the new Mounted Combat system and much more.

Much of the gameplay is typical of the MMO format: The player controls a character avatar which can be moved around the game world and interacts with other players, non-player (computer-controlled) characters (or "NPCs") and other entities in the virtual world. Camera angles can be switched between first-person and third-person options. Characters are improved by gaining levels. A character's level increases after it earns a set amount of experience points through the player versus environment (or "PvE") combat and storyline adventures. Characters' abilities are improved by increasing in level, but character skills must be purchased from specified NPCs after gaining a new level. The main storyline (also known as the "Epic Quest Line") is presented as a series of "Books", which consist of series of quests called "Chapters". There were initially eight Books when the game was released, with new books added with each free content update. Tolkien's Middle-earth as represented in The Lord of the Rings Online implements magic in a different manner than other MMORPGs such as World of Warcraft. There are only five "wizards" in the fictional world, none of which are player-controlled. Instead, there are active skills which require "power" (the equivalent of magic points). Some skills behave like magic (like healing or throwing a burning ember at an enemy), but are based on "lore". In addition, objects and artifacts are used to create effects similar to magic. Other features include a fast travel system and a detailed quest log with tracker and history.

Rise of Isengard will expand the online world of Middle-earth where players will join forces to press further eastward into the legendary region of Isengard. Rise of Isengard includes an increased level cap, the new region of Isengard including the legendary tower of Orthanc, enhancements to monster play and much more. The Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria is the first retail expansion pack for the MMORPG The Lord of the Rings Online. The storyline is set in Moria, an enormous underground complex in north-western Middle-earth. Apart from that, the expansion also adds the region Lórien. The game's level cap has been increased to level 60; and the expansion extends the Epic storyline by six more books, and adds two new classes, the Rune-keeper and the Warden. Other new features include environment aware AI, dynamic lighting, and a new weapon enhancement system.

Disciples II is a fantasy strategy game, set in a fictional kingdom called Nevandaar (also referred to as 'The Sacred Lands'). The main focus of the story revolves around four dominant races in a state of almost constant war. These four factions are the human Empire, the dwarven Mountain Clans, the demonic Legions of the Damned, and the skeletal Undead Hordes. There are also several other 'neutral' races such as Merfolk, Greenskins and Elves (the Elves became a full-fledged playable race with the addition of the expansion pack 'Rise of the Elves'). The gameplay is divided into three main parts; building up the Capital City of your race so that you can research new Warriors and spells, and building up new armies (this involves careful resource management); using heroes (leading small squads) to explore the surroundings, procure resources and attack the enemy; and finally the battles themselves.

Severance: Blade of Darkness follows the fate of four characters and their quest to defeat an evil Necromancer and retrieve a legendary sword. The player can choose between the characters, who are a Knight, a Barbarian, A Dwarf and a Ranger/ Amazon type female character. All characters have different starting areas but eventually end up in the same levels. Yet, the sequence of the stages can be chosen as a world map in between the stages prompts you to decide where you want to go next, maybe look for help at the Dwarven Mines or go face the Orcs at their dwelling.

It is then a matter of clearing out areas of opponents and finding items to enhance your character's and companions abilities. There are many traps to avoid and death is a constant in what most people would find a very tough game. Gameplay for leader is action-oriented, with a menu that allows to Parley/Travel/Rally Troops, change formations or use items. The leader attacks with Melee and Projectile buttons. Some classes are more reliant on teammates than others. "Parley" allows you to buy (but not sell) items, or buy a Safe Pass (skip the area)
