Virtua Tennis 3 (Sega Professional Tennis: Power Smash 3 in Japan) is the second arcade game sequel to Sega's tennis game franchise, Virtua Tennis. The arcade version of Virtua Tennis 3 is powered by the PC-based Sega Lindbergh arcade system board. Ports for the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 3 consoles are also available with a traditional collection of tennis minigames that the home versions of Virtua Tennis are known for. In 2009, Sega updated and re-created Virtua Tennis 3 in Virtua Tennis 2009.

NBA 08 features volume three of "The Life" series that concludes and revolves around a coach by the name of "Coach T" as his career is winding down. The player takes control of a player for Coach T. with the ability to choose from five different characters depending on the position they want to play or create their own with 60 different scenarios to participate in. The game follows a realistic view of basketball by attending news conferences, signing endorsements, interact with fellow players and coaches and rivals as well. The decisions determines how the player is viewed as either a team player or a lone troublemaker. Depending on how their player performs during games, they can receive attribute points to strengthen their players. There is also a Smart Shot Indicator, which has a color indication before a player takes a shot at the basket, letting them know how hard the defense is pressing and the likely hood of missing or completing the shot. The game features updated animation and a feeling of a real broadcast on television featuring the voice talents of Kevin Calabro and Mark Jackson. There are minigames to compete in, like 3-Point Shootout and the Playstation Skill Challenge and online capabilities where players can compete head-to-head or in tournaments.

Virtua Tennis 2009 features several international tennis stars like Roger Federer, Boris Becker or Maria Sharapova against which the player needs to compete against or play with in the heart of the game: The World Tour. The player creates his own character from scratch and plays to reach the number one rank on the world ranking list.

Grand Slam Tennis features 23 total players, including 9 retired legends and 14 of today's top players at the time of the game's release. Current Male Players: Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Andy Roddick, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Lleyton Hewitt and Kei Nishikori. Current Female Players: Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Ana Ivanović, Lindsay Davenport and Maria Sharapova. Retired Male Legends: Pete Sampras, Björn Borg, John McEnroe, Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg, Pat Cash, and Michael Stich Retired Female Legends: Martina Navratilova, Justine Henin and Chris Evert Grand Slam Tennis also includes a "Create-A-Player" mode. In the "Create-A-Player" mode, players can create their own unique player for use in all modes of the game. The player can customize their created player with branded clothing, racquet styles, accessories and physical appearance. Up to nine players can be created at any one time. Pat Cash serves as the commentator even when he is playing in a match.

Virtua Tennis 4 is an action-oriented tennis game which focuses on fast matches instead of being a realistic simulation. The heart of the game is the career mode in which the player creates their own avatar. The goal is simple: reaching the top within four seasons. Here the player has various possibilities to improve their tennis player, e.g. by playing training sessions (arcade minigames like picking up eggs) to improve the statistics, buying new clothes with prize money or playing matches. The menu for this mode is made up like a board game. Other playing modes are single matches, party mode (playing the mentioned mini games) or arcade (winning as many matches in a row as possible). Here players can choose between 19 licensed athletes (plus at release already retired athletes in the PlayStation 3 version). The standard controls for returning the ball consist of choosing the desired move, e.g. spin and basic direction. When a special bar is filled up, players can unleash an especially powerful shot.

NBA Live 08 is the 2007 installment of the NBA Live series by EA Sports. It was released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PlayStation 2, Windows and PlayStation Portable. This is the first NBA video game to include all three next-generation consoles. It was the last NBA Live game for the Windows platform.
