Wing Commander III: Heart of the Tiger

Standoff is a fan-made add-on to Origin's Wing Commander Secret Ops, the latest PC Game in the Wing Commander franchise. Standoff will work with either the freely-downloadable Secret Ops Starter Package or with the full version of Secret Ops that is included in the Wing Commander Prophecy Gold edition. Standoff was originally released in five separate episodes, from December 2004 to August 2009, matching the subdivisions of the game's storyline. As of now, the full game can be installed and played from start to finish by downloading a single file.

Released free via the Internet, Wing Commander: Secret Ops was structured differently than the previous Wing Commander games. Instead of a standalone games, Secret Ops missions were released episodically via the Internet for free download. This time around, the evil Nephilum have used a second jump gate to attack your home more directly, and they also have a deadly new viral weapon. You, along with a small band of TCS Midway veterans are assigned to counter-attack in a quick and effective strike against this new threat.

This special edition included a 3-D mouse pad and the original soundtrack CD.

Wing Commander 4 is one of the greatest space sims of all time, and some even consider it the greatest one of all. It is one of those games that did everything right. Space Engineers is a sandbox game about engineering, construction and maintenance of space works. Players build space ships and space stations of various sizes and utilization (civil and military), pilot ships and perform asteroid mining.
