Mario Sports Superstars is a multi‑sport compilation featuring five arcade‑style sports (soccer, baseball, tennis, golf, and horse racing), each with accessible controls and quick matches. Players pick from familiar Mario characters, compete in tournaments or single events, and enjoy local or online multiplayer alongside single‑player challenge modes.

The games include volleyball, hockey (both field and ice), dodgeball, and basketball in the vein of the two companies' earlier collaboration, Mario Hoops 3 on 3. There are power-up items which give advantages to the team that attains them. Each game has an Exhibition mode, in which up to four human players compete in individual matches, and Tournament mode, where up to three players play matches in a tournament structure, with modes of difficulty named Mushroom, Flower and Star. Mario Sports Mix also includes several party games based on the mechanics of each sport. Smash Skate is based on Hockey, Bob-omb Dodge is based on Dodgeball, Feed Petey is based on Basketball, and Harmony Hustle is based on Volleyball.

Mario Party 7: Bowser's Lair Hockey was an online Flash game published by Nintendo to promote the release of Mario Party 7 on the Nintendo GameCube. It could be played at the Nintendo Arcade, a section on nintendo.com that contained promotional web games.

Originally a generic Rampage clone, Beam Software struck a deal with confectionary giant Leaf UK to incorporate their Chewits mascot known as 'The Muncher' into the game. While the mascot's promotional images and brand name were used, the game's giant monster bares little if any resemblance. It served more as a marketing strategy than an essential part of the game.

The game is a simple black and white monochrome driving game. You control a car through a night time scene, and the road is represented by simple posts at the edges. The top of the screen will display information about upcoming curves (like the maximum safe speed to take them at), while the bottom of the screen has a speedometer, timer, scoreboard, and may also display a few tips as well. Just drive, and don't crash. Pay attention to your speed on the corners to avoid crashing.

Museum Guide is an advergame made for History Worth Playing, a campaign for the Computer Spiele Museum of Berlin in Germany. The game was written to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the museum and the 35th anniversary of the ZX Spectrum. The game is set in the museum, where some games have gone missing. The player has to locate the games and bring them back to the correct exhibit. The museum consists of several single-screen rooms connected both horizontally and vertically to offer a large amount of exploration. Items such as discs, boards, and cartridges can be picked up and stored in an inventory with room for four items. There they can be examined and then the player has to find the correct exhibit to put it back. Both items and exhibits have descriptions that can be read for some more information about video game history.

This game was released as a game to advertise Cap'n Crunch cereal. In the game you raise crunchlings by playing mini-games to raise their stats, in order to defeat the boss at the end. There are 3 separate mini-games in the game. In Winter 1999, the "Where's the Cap'n?" promotion returned from 1985. This time kids could log on to the internet to help solve the clues regarding where he had disappeared to. In Spring 2000, the Cap'n was back. This time it was revealed he was in Volcanica (at the center of the Earth) saving the Earth's supply of Crunchium. Alongside his return was this game packaged with specially marked boxes of cereal.
