F-Zero GX is the fourth installment in the F-Zero series and the successor to F-Zero X. The game continues the series' difficult, high-speed racing style, retaining the basic gameplay and control system from the Nintendo 64 title. WipEout Pure is the first adaptation for the PSP of the long-running Wipeout series. Players take part in a futuristic racing league known as the FX300 Racing League and control a fast hovercrafts on tight, cornering tracks, vying for first place in one of many tournaments. There are ten anti-gravity vehicles available to use (two need to be unlocked), each with their own characteristics in speed, handling and acceleration. Vehicles are further divided into classes that are unlocked gradually. In later classes most of the vehicles become much faster and require more precise steering at fast speeds. In the same vein, players can unlock new tournaments.

Wreckfest is a racing video game developed by Bugbear Entertainment and published by THQ Nordic. It features demolition derbies and traditional races with a strong emphasis on vehicular damage and realistic physics. The game includes various modes such as career, multiplayer, and custom events. Released in 2018, Wreckfest is notable for its detailed destruction modelling and the strategic depth required in vehicle customisation and handling.

Pyroblazer is a futuristic combat racing game. Set amidst the awe-inspiring locations of New Apeiron, players get the opportunity to race through a multitude of environments using a wide selection of anti-gravity craft known as Blazers. In their quest for glory, players can blast their way through the scorched valleys of Gnosis, the deserted cities of Haedra or the densely populated Underdome of Evelads. As the players fight their way through the championship, improved Blazers with better speed, handling and superior firepower become available. Players also have the ability to pick up weapon and ammo upgrades during the race, further enhancing their ability to land the killer blow.

Uchuu Race: Astro Go! Go! is a Racing game, developed by KAZe and published by Meldac, which was released in Japan in 1994.

The game features 30 tracks, and 15 crafts; however, when the first six races are available, the player must complete the game to unlock more tutorials and tracks. It also features "Trackman", a mode which allows players to create their own tracks using various objects. Tutorials guide the player to this mode. A two-player split screen mode is included in the game, as well as the Time Trial and Cup racing modes for one player. The player should choose a craft they like to use in the game, and then go through five series (each including six tracks). After the race has loaded, the screen will show a view of the track. The player will see a countdown that would begin the race. The player must finish at first, second or third place to win. If he or she successfully completed a series, the player unlocks more material. Despite the tracks incorporating twists, turns, loops, corkscrews and jumps, various obstacles are considered avoidable for him or her. Falling off the track is one example. When below the third position, he or she will lose. In addition, there are the boost and health icons throughout each track.

Need For Madness 2, a combat stunt racer, expands on the first game by adding more cars and levels.

An Europe-exclusive racing game based on the 1960s marionette-based sci-fi series Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons. Captain Scarlet is a 3D racing/shooter game based on the TV series Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons (1967-1968). The player takes control of Captain Scarlet who has to protect the world from the Mysterons, an alien race wanting revenge for the destruction of their base on Mars by Captain Black. In the game captain scarlet takes on missions to thwart the plans of the Mysterons. These missions include escorting V.I.P.s, rescuing Captain Blue, destroying a bomb truck and delivering supplies in time. While playing, the player will drive two different vehicles that can fire projectiles - the Spectrum patrol car and Spectrum pursuit vehicle.
