Enter the future of racing 10 years before the turn of the 30th century. Zero Racers was shown at E3 1996, but went unreleased until 2026 as part of the Nintendo Classics collection. Forced to live underground, humanity has lost its former glory and access to certain emotions. This is where the RACE is held. Compete for the highest rank in your machine of choice on courses of interconnected square ducts. You must maintain a rank within each lap's specified range and finish in the top three to advance to the next course. Fly through Rapid Marks on each course to obtain RAPID and use that to give yourself a temporary speed boost!

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a crossover fighting game for the Nintendo Switch and the fifth main entry in the series. Drivers earn thousands of dollars by competing in hydroplane races, setting track records, rescuing stranded people, and collecting cash bonuses. With these winnings they can repair or upgrade various components of the hydroplane to improve racing performance and remain competitive in the increasingly-difficult races. Eliminator Boat Duel offers three difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, and Expert. Completing a race at a lower difficulty level advances the player to the next higher one. At each difficulty level, the player's hydroplane can be damaged from impact with animals, the opponent's hydroplane, and various stationary objects. A false start is penalized with a $2,000 fine. For most of a race, players control their hydroplanes from a bird's-eye view, and the screen scrolls in multiple directions; but in one segment of the race, the graphical perspective changes to a third-person tracking mode. In a single-player game, the player competes first with Seasick Sidney (in Easy mode), with Aquarius Rex (in Normal mode), or with Surfer Bob (in Expert mode). The player then competes against Vicious Vicky, Weird Willy, Mangler Mike, Veronica Alabaster, and Disaster Don (the reigning World Champion), respectively. To win, the player must defeat each opponent one-against-one on three unique race courses. Eliminator Boat Duel has 24 unique race courses.

After the success of Star Fox, Nintendo decided to make a sequel on the same system. However, with the release of the Nintendo 64 looming close, Nintendo decided to cancel the game despite it being nearly complete. Many features of this game were later reused in Star Fox 64, most notably Star Wolf, and the game itself was later leaked as source code and compiled into a working ROM. The game was later released for the SNES Classic console as an unlockable game, marking its first official release. Since then, the game was also released for the Nintendo Switch Online service.

Virtua Hamster is a unreleased Sega 32X game. The game was to star a variety of selectable rodents attached to rocket packs who could travel through a series of connected tubes, fighting each other and avoiding various obstacles. It was built solely with the 32X in mind, however after the console failed development moved to the Sega Saturn for a short while before being axed completely. It is also reported that Sega of Japan were not keen on use of the "Virtua" in the game's name, possibly so that the game was not associated with Sega AM2's Virtua Fighter and Virtua Racing. An alternate box mock-up uses the title Virtual Hamster instead. In August 2009, Ryo Suzuki of SEGASaturno.com dumped an early prototype version of this game. In it, the only selectable character is hamster, Chip, and there is only one empty level (though there are numerous non-moving 3D models of other characters and items dotted around the map). A resets the game, and B/C can be used to move the camera forwards and backwards through the tube. There are also two Sega screens.

A clone of Irem's Moon Patrol, Lunar Rover Patrol is a side-scrolling action game, starring a lunar rover.

Reclaim Prince Dorin's Kingdom! Developed by Intelligent Systems, Dragon Hopper was largely complete and due for release in 1996, but went unreleased until 2026 as part of the Nintendo Classics collection. Due to trademark conflicts, this release was referred to under the name "D-Hopper" in English marketing materials, though the game itself retains its original title. In this action title, leap and fly across floating floors and defeat enemies blocking your path to advance. When you locate each of the four missing spirits, you'll be able to transform into a dragon that wields special techniques!
