Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes

Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes is the fourth game in the Marvel vs. Capcom series of fighting games. The player's controls were simplified to make the gameplay more accessible to the wider audience of casual players and the button configuration was trimmed down to 4 main buttons and 2 assist buttons. The game also features a different air-combo system and 3 on 3 tag, compared to the 2 on 2 tag from previous games in the series.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will feature a variety of exciting and accessible single player modes and rich multi-player content for new players and longtime fans alike. In addition to single player Arcade, Training and Mission modes, a visually stunning and immersive cinematic Story Mode will put players at the center of both universes as they battle for survival against a sinister new threat. Bringing forth a host of features never before seen in these games, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins features GGPO-enhanced online play with 8-player lobbies and spectator mode, HD graphical upgrades, dynamic challenges and replay saving.

The iOS port of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 introduces a new feature called Variable System that allows the player to tag in other team members at any time.

Despite the small amount of content, it is pretty infamous for its larger filesize. It contains a full soundtrack and voice acting. The game requires that your computer's locale be set to Japanese in order to play. Looks can be quite deceiving with Dot Fighters, as it actually contains a fairly complex gameplay system, which is arguably better designed than Arm Joe's. Unfortunately, Takase has retained the same design ethic for Dot Fighter resulting in vastly overpowered characters and moves.
