Experience the fourth chapter in the classic Monster World series! One day, a young, green-haired girl names Asha, hears spirits calling out for help. Upon hearing the spirits, she leaves her village and sets forth on a grand adventure into Monster World. One her journey, she comes across a small blue monster named Pepe and a magical Genie. Together they must fight through Monster Land to defeat evil and save the troubled Elemental Spirits.
The Game Gear port of Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap, a direct sequel to Wonder Boy in Monster Land, you wander through the lands using multiple forms that each have different abilities. Each defeated boss unlocks a new form that has to be used to advance to a new area, while shops give you access to new equipment for money.

Black Tiger, known in Japan as Black Dragon, is a 1987 action game released for the arcades by Capcom. A barbarian hero jumps and fights his way through a variety of colourful, enemy-packed levels. The sprawling, eight-way scrolling, two-dimensional levels are packed with hidden bonuses to encourage and reward exploration. Though a percentage of these bonuses consist of dubious and often self-evident "advice", most come in the form of "Zenny coins", currency that allows the player to buy such items as an upgrade to their weapons and armour, keys for treasure chests, and anti-poisoning potions. Special items that reveal coins, upgraded armour, full vitality, extra lives, extra time, or simply bonus points may be found by attacking certain walls. The player's vitality bar will also increase up to three times as a reward for reaching score benchmarks.

In the region of Awelsia, vengeful Freyja travels with an unknown weapon called 'AeternoBlade'. Freyja looks to take revenge on Beladim, the Lord of the Mist who destroyed her village, Ridgerode, and killed her tribe. Her vengeance is helped by Vernia, who has as much merit as Beladim.
