RalliSport Challenge 2

RalliSport Challenge 2 is a 2004 rally racing video game, and the sequel to the 2002 RalliSport Challenge. This game contains new features such as a cockpit cameras and ability to change car at the last moment. However, stats like total horsepower and number of gears have been eliminated from the car selection screen. Cars are split up into 5 categories with 2 subcategories each plus "Classic" cars. There are 4 paint schemes on each car and drivers must drive 31, 87, and 249 miles before unlocking a new one. By winning all championships in the career mode, all paint schemes for all cars are unlocked.

Sega Rally Championship is a 1994 arcade racing game developed by AM5 on the Sega Model 2 board. The unique selling point of Sega Rally was the ability to drive on different surfaces (including asphalt, gravel and mud), with different friction properties, with the car's handling changing accordingly. As the first racing game to incorporate this feature, Sega Rally is considered to be one of the milestones in the evolution of the racing game genre. The music for the arcade game was composed by Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, while the Sega Saturn port's soundtrack was done by Naofumi Hataya and the Guitar were played by Joe Satriani.

Dakar 2 is a racing game, of course simulating the famous Paris-Dakar Rally. Although not the real 6000 kilometers can be crossed in the game, the rally mode takes the player through 12 tracks all the way from France to Dakar. The tracks lead racers through cities, forests and the desert. Most of them are simple tracks, but there are desert tracks where the player can drive around freely, finding the checkpoints faster than the opponents. The player can choose from the officially licensed cars, trucks and bikes from Dakar 2002, but only vehicles of the same type can compete in a race. There is also an arcade racing mode, where all the tracks and vehicles that have been unlocked in rally mode can be selected, as well as a splitscreen mode for two players.

This game features many different races that may take place on the Wangan, or on the local mountain roads called Touge. There are two types of races that can take place on the Wangan: Destination Races - a simple point to point race, and Top Speed Battles - whoever can set the highest speed record in between the start and finish wins. The Touge also features two events: Grip Battles - point to point race going uphill or downhill through tight Hairpin Turns, and Drift Battles - whoever can accumulate the most points by the end of the run wins. Throughout the Wangan are several exits which can lead to hotspots - where Wangan races can be started, touges, Car Dealerships, tune shops, and Robo-Garages. These garages were featured in the movie The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.

Race Pro is a sim racing video game described as having "ultra realistic car models" with cars ranging in power from 200 hp to 1,000 hp. The game features cars and drivers from the 2007, 2006 and the original 1987 FIA World Touring Car Championship seasons, as well as the European F3000, Formula BMW, Mini Challenge and Caterham cup. The game also has three GT categories, on top of this it has racing Radicals and road cars which are the Audi R8, Koenigsegg CCX, Koenigsegg CCXR and Dodge Viper.

For the first time in recent years, the game includes the addition of playable 125cc and 250cc support classes. MotoGP '07 for the PlayStation 2 had a reputation for emphasis on simulation in contrast to the MotoGP titles published by THQ, which have a reputation for arcade gameplay. MotoGP '08 is reported to balance these different styles and allow the player to configure an emphasis towards their desired gameplay.

In each season there are 8 competitions, staged in Australia, the USA, England, Sweden, Japan, Greece and Finland. Each competition has 6 stages set around different landscapes, and a special head-to-head stage at the end. You are out to beat the clock, and the time set by the opposing teams, on each occasion. Beat the time, win the stage, and you are once step closer to taking the world title. Along the way you can alter and modify the Focus' setup, from the wheels used, gearboxes, brakes, suspension and so forth.
