Rally Cross 2 lets you experience off-road racing on eight different tracks set in a variety of environments: Construction, Switchyard, Black Forest, Dry Valley, Rocky Pass, County Air, Refinery and RC Stadium. The four play settings include Single Race (which can be set to head-on or suicide modes, having you race against one or three vehicles driving in the opposite direction), Season, Time Trial and Practice. A new 3D engine allows for visible damage and effects such as reflections and mud sticking to your car or truck. Speaking of vehicles, you select from a pool of ten with different ratings in power, top speed and weight. You can also customize shocks, steering response, brakes, gearing ratios, transmission, tires (choose from all purpose, off-road, snow or slick) and even paint--both body and detail colors can be set to your liking. Yet the most notable addition is the track editor, which allows you to build your own course from scratch or modify an existing one to add more jumps, 90 degree turns, mud pits, and several other features. In total, there are 16 different track pieces you can position on an 8 x 8 grid using one of three themes: desert, snow or forest. Suikoden is a Japanese-style role-playing game with several unusual additions. There are three kinds of combat in the game, the most common one being the traditional turn-based party combat (players can have up to six people in their active party). Magic runes can be equipped on the player's characters which allow limited usage of offensive and healing spells. There are also a few army battles, where the player must control whole units of fighters, archers, magicians, etc., and one-on-one fights (duels).
"The King of Fighters '99: Millennium Battle" is the sixth game in The King of Fighters series by SNK. Unlike in previous games of the series, there are four characters per team instead of three, with the fourth serving as a "Striker", a fighter whose function is only to enter a match, attack the opponent and leave without replacing their teammates. In total, there are seven teams, each containing four characters, four Team Edit characters and a boss.
PEAK PERFORMANCE is a racing game based on the Chevrolet Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The signature course, Pikes Peak Hill Climb, is a solitary climb up a mountain, with more turns on one track than most have in an entire game. This track, as with half of the other four courses, features a combination of dirt and pavement in both urban and rural settings, providing enough variety and difficulty to keep things interesting. Each of the game's 25 cars has its own feel, giving the game a good amount of depth and keeping the replay value high. Each car can also be colored, named, and completely customized, right down to the wheels.
Deadheat Road is a classic racing game in which the player compete in a racing againts a computer player car. The races usually starts in the night and ends with the daylight. The game features different cars for the player to choose and different circuits (west and east ones). The cars can also be customized.
This value-minded release comes to North America courtesy of Tommo and A1 Games. Play as one of 12 racers competing for first-place finishes on seven different race tracks, which include pavement and frozen landscapes. Three modes of play include: Grand Prix, Time Attack, and Two-Player Versus. Use the drift technique and grab turbo capsules littering the race courses to give you a competitive edge.
A neat drift-racing game ala Initial D that lets you choose among 15 cars and 5 courses. You can race against up to 5 cars in the arcade mode and there's also a story, time trial and practice mode (where you can train tricky parts of courses). Graphics and sound are passable but unremarkable (you can listen the 12 redbook tracks on your stereo) and the handling is a bit hard to get into at first as it feels a bit stiff with a digital pad. I'd recommened using the Negcon, which helps quite a bit. An obscure racing wheel, the "Cockpit Wheel" (SLHP-00024) is also supported. Sadly no multiplayer option, but all in all I'd say it's a nice little racer, albeit not quite up on par with the greats (Side by Side Special, Touge MAX G).

Racing as the title suggests is a simple racing game. It features both a short and a long distance race course, a mirrored version of the long course, plus different skill levels. Before a race begins, players select a car (out of 6 total), and then set whether they want automatic or manual transmission, and whether they want a drift or grip setting. Races have the player racing against 3 opponent racers. Players try to attain the fastest lap times and the fastest total race time while trying to defeat their opponents. The players fastest times can then be saved. The game also contains a brief tutorial that explains the controls and some techniques of racing.
