The game was designed with a team of teachers and educationalists, in accordance with the official programmes of the Department of Education. Aimed for an audience of young children between six and seven years old, Rayman CP helps them in their first year at the primary school with an introduction to the reading and the calculus, creativity, music and English workshops and games that familiarize the player with the mouse and the keyboard. Some earlier editions of Rayman CP were bundled with an exclusive Rayman-branded computer mouse.
