Downtown Nekketsu Story is the original version of the game known as River City Ransom. The game was first released as Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari, but has since been localized as Downtown Nekketsu Story.

Reiho High School's Big Four is a group of students feared by all other schools among the students there was one who reigned, garnering the title of 'Mr.' from even his classmates… His name was Kobayashi. He fought Kunio under Yamada's orders and lost.... However, Kobayashi knew he hadn't fought giving all he had. What on earth is he planning? Depending on your choices you may find the answer.

Big Trouble in River City! Mystery is afoot once again for Kunio and his River City pals! One night, Kunio is attacked by two mysterious individuals. On top of that, Riki's girlfriend has disappeared, and it's up to Kunio to find out the truth! River City: Tokyo Rumble follows the story of a hot-blooded high school student named Kunio and his good friends. When a nefarious gang moves into Tokyo to try to take it over, it's up to this self-proclaimed "fighter for justice" and his buddies to make sure the streets stay safe! Punch, kick, use weapons such as soccer balls, iron knuckles, chains, and even bicycles to knock some sense into those devious gang members. Take on jobs, level up your abilities, and don't forget to stop on occasion for a snack or two at the local food joints. Luckily, smiles are free!

River City Girls 2: Double Dragon DLC is an upcoming DLC for River City Girls 2 which adds in Billy and Jimmy from Double Dragon as playable characters.

Picking up shortly after the original, River City Girls 2 once again put you in control of Misako and Kyoko - as well as Kunio, Riki, and a few new characters - as they set out on an all-new beat-'em-up adventure across the mean streets of River City. New moves, new enemies, new recruits, new environments, and the return of an old foe await, along with the same over-the-top sense of humor and adrenaline-pumping combat of its predecessor. The game will also feature two-player co-op action both locally and online.
