Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland is a Japanese role-playing video game developed by Gust. Atelier Rorona is the eleventh installment in the Atelier series, and it is the first title in the series to be developed for PlayStation 3, and it is also the first to utilize 3D models as opposed to the 2D sprites in earlier titles. Atelier Rorona's storyline is presented as a series of twelve tasks. Each of these tasks amounts to three months of the game's storyline and requires the player to complete it by the end of the period. The game has four main modes of gameplay: a field map, a battle screen, an alchemy system, and a visual novel system.

Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland is a Japanese role-playing video game developed by Gust. It is the third and final game in the Arland series and a direct sequel to Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland. The game features a turn-based battle system. Battles are based on the idea that the princess, Meruru, is the leader and those accompanying her are considered "escorts." Meruru can use items in battle and depending on the conditions in battle, her escorts can chain attacks and the power of the items can be increased.

The collection system has been redesigned, the items found are the same but different tools or actions will be required to find them at collection points. The crafting system has been updated and a new item making system has been added, to be revealed at a later date. The turn-based combat is getting changed in some fashion to make it more tense, also to be revealed later.

Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book is an upcoming Japanese role-playing video game. It is the 17th main game in the "Atelier" series. The game features a completely reformed world view from earlier titles within the series, in addition to a new alchemy-centric system. Sophie is able to obtain ideas for recipes from activities such as harvesting, exploring, battling, or from events, and these ideas are used as a basis of improving her knowledge of alchemy. When she performs alchemy, the player is presented with various predetermined shapes representing the ingredients used, and arranges each shape on a puzzle board that represents the cauldron. This process involves visual trial-and-error, and if the shapes are arranged perfectly, the player receives a bonus. The materials selected affect the quality of the item synthesized. This system is intended to offer a high degree of freedom based on the player's own play style.

A new crafting feature, called Enchanting Agents, was added to the Synthesis system. 6 characters participate in combat, each attacker can have a support characters to help out, and you can now craft items while in combat.

The game's main focus is on the lead protagonist, Vayne Aurelius, the son of a legendary alchemist named Theofratus who had disappeared sometime after Vayne's birth. Since then, Vayne has led the life of a hermit, his only companion being a Mana in cat form named Sulpher. Vayne is invited to the Al-Revis Academy for alchemy training by Zeppel, one of the professors. He is quickly indoctrinated into the school by becoming part of an atelier led by Flay Gunnar (an older student who is known as The Defender of Justice) along with two other students, Jess (a clumsy girl who is nevertheless adept at alchemy), and Nikki (an impulsive beastgirl). They are soon joined by Pamela (the school's resident ghost), Anna (an 11-year-old master swordsman), Roxis (the son of a famous family of alchemists who is quickly forced to join the workshop by Flay), and Muppy (an alien the group discovers on an assignment). The eight of them are able to succeed at completing assignments, learn the skills of alchemy, and allow the workshop to prosper.

Atelier Totori is the twelfth installment in the Atelier series, and it continues the series' emphasis on item synthesis. The game is the second in the Arland series and a direct sequel to Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland, taking place five years after the end of Atelier Rorona. It is followed by Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland.

Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana is a Turn-Based RPG and with alchemy gameplay and story components. It is the 6th core Atelier game and the first game in the Iris series, being the first Ateleir game to be released internationally. The game follows the young alchemist Klein Kiesling, who is travelling to learn more about alchemy together with his friend, the Wood Mana, Popo. One day, he is saved from a monster by Lita Blanchimont, a young Galgazit, monster hunter. Lita eventually recruits him to become an Galgazit as well, and they start working together in the town of Kavoc. However, Klein is soon caught in many troubles, and eventually becomes involved in a quest of saving both the world and Lita.

The main character is not an alchemist, unlike the main games in the franchise, but she can work with them and let them manage an atelier in town making it their own. Gust hopes to make this game its own series in the future while working on the main line of Atelier games.
