Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland is a Japanese role-playing video game developed by Gust. Atelier Rorona is the eleventh installment in the Atelier series, and it is the first title in the series to be developed for PlayStation 3, and it is also the first to utilize 3D models as opposed to the 2D sprites in earlier titles. Atelier Rorona's storyline is presented as a series of twelve tasks. Each of these tasks amounts to three months of the game's storyline and requires the player to complete it by the end of the period. The next game in the Atelier franchise and the start of a new series of games. The collection system has been redesigned, the items found are the same but different tools or actions will be required to find them at collection points. The crafting system has been updated and a new item making system has been added, to be revealed at a later date. The turn-based combat is getting changed in some fashion to make it more tense, also to be revealed later.
