In this arcade companion game to Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 and the second arcade installment of the Mario & Sonic series. As with the Nintendo Switch version, the game takes place in Tokyo, Japan, home of the 2020 Summer Olympics, and features events from both 2020, as well as 2D Events from the 1964 Summer Olympics, which were also held in Tokyo.

These 2D Events' animations reflect the 8-bit Mario and 16-bit Sonic game art style.

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games is the fifth installment of the Mario & Sonic series. Unlike previous games, this game was officially licensed by the International Olympic Committee for the 31st Summer Olympic Games and taking place in the host city Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. The game contains two new game modes, Golf and Rugby along with twenty new characters, ten from the Mario series, ten from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a side-scrolling platform game and the first 2D Super Mario entry since New Super Mario Bros. U (2012). Players choose from twelve characters and traverse levels across the Flower Kingdom, a new setting for the series. The game's central mechanic is the Wonder Flower, which dramatically alters levels in unpredictable ways when touched. New power-ups include an elephant transformation, a bubble flower, and a drill hat, while an equippable badge system allows players to customize their abilities. The game supports local multiplayer for up to four active players and includes an asynchronous online mode.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games is a sports game with the official license of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games and a crossover franchise from the Mario and the Sonic universe similar to Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. It takes place at the Vancouver Winter Olympics of 2010. Like the previous game, the 27 events are presented as motion-based mini-games. Aside from the main events there are a series of Dream Events that have enhanced features and visuals. Some of the events can optionally be played using the balance board peripheral. Events include for instance skiing, snowboarding, bobsleigh, ice hockey, figure skating and more. The games can be played individually or in a festival mode that spans 17 days.

Additional training and fitness modes let players practice individual skills and track their progress over time.

Mario Party 8 is the eighth installment of the Mario Party series on a home console and the first Mario Party game for the Wii. Mario Party 8 is notable for its strong use of the Wii Remote and its motion control capabilities in minigames. Players are required to perform various gestures instead of traditional button/joystick controls. Common motions include pointing-and-shooting, shaking, waving, turning, and twisting the Wii Remote. Player-created Miis are featured in this game, wherein they often show up within crowds. Miis can appear in certain minigames and may also serve as the player's character in Extra Mode. Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity is a hoverboard racing video game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega for the PlayStation 2 and Wii. It is the fifth racing game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, and the second entry the Sonic Riders trilogy. A port for the Xbox 360 was cancelled during development, while a sequel, Sonic Free Riders, was released exclusively for that system in 2010. Gameplay in Zero Gravity is largely similar to its predecessor, with characters racing on different types of hovercraft called "Extreme Gear". In addition to the mechanics from the previous game, Zero Gravity adds a new gameplay system based around gravity that replaces the predecessor's "fuel" system. During the race, performing tricks and other actions will increase a character's Gravity Points, or GP. If players have accrued enough GP by the time they enter certain areas of the track, they will enter a Zero-Gravity Zone, where they can perform one of two maneuvers. A Gravity Dive will create a small black hole that points gravity forward down the track, giving the player a powerful free-fall boost that is further augmented by striking objects in the vicinity that the hole displaces, such as cars or signs. Alternatively, Gravity Control will alter the gravity of the course, allowing players to reach otherwise-inaccessible areas and shortcuts. Players can also use Gravity Drift to more easily maneuver around sharp corners.
