God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla is a free DLC that introduces a new mode that uses elements of the roguelite genre. Players progress through a series of trials set in procedurally generated levels, where they must choose a relic, shield, and rage ability for each trial run. After completing a challenge within a trial, players can opt for upgrading their weapon, relic, or stats, but these enhancements only apply to that specific trial run. Each run and the completion of specific gameplay challenges unlock permanent rewards. If a player dies, they restart the trial from the beginning. The downloadable content (DLC) also introduces new enemies, including new and familiar ones from the Greek era games like cyclopes and minotaurs.

Of course, the goal is not to copy the teacher, but instead to outperform them - you can do this by improvising in the song's gaps. Listen to how the song goes, and improvise in time to the music; if you perform well enough, the teacher will step aside, leaving you to freestyle on your own! Um Jammer Lammy Now!, also known as simply the Um Jammer Lammy Arcade version, was an arcade cabinet that allowed players to play Um Jammer Lammy in versus mode using controllers designed as guitars; a concept later adopted by the Guitar Hero franchise.
