Mass Effect: Genesis is a downloadable "interactive backstory comic". Genesis fills the role of Mass Effect for new players by introducing them to the story of the original game and allowing them to make six of the major plot decisions that players could make. If downloaded, the comic appears between the opening level and character customization. There are two versions of the comic, one each for a male and female Commander Shepard.

An online downloadable content and news service that enables free bonus content for the game. New purchases of Mass Effect 2 are provided with a one-time use access code that unlocks the game's Cerberus Network. However, users who buy the game used have to pay for the Cerberus Network separately if they want access to the bonus content.

Zaeed - The Price of Revenge is a DLC pack for Mass Effect 2.

Normandy Crash Site is a DLC pack for Mass Effect 2 that was released with the game's launch. Explore the crash site of the SSV Normandy as Commander Shepard is asked by Alliance Command to explore the site and recover the remains of missing crew members and place a monument on the site. Alliance Command wants Shepard to be the first to walk on the site as Shepard was the vessel's last commanding officer.

Firewalker Pack is a DLC pack for Mass Effect 2.

"Stolen Memory" introduces two new missions where the player assumes the role of Commander Shepard, an elite human soldier who must recruit a new squad member named Kasumi Goto and help her steal a graybox that contains important information and memories of her partner.

Overlord is a DLC pack for Mass Effect 2. The pack includes four new missions that take place on the planet Aite where an experimental Virtual Intelligence hybrid has gone rogue.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is an action-adventure shooter game played from a first-person perspective. The game utilizes a health system in which players' health is divided into separate sections that regenerate; if an entire section is lost, the player must use a health pack to replenish the missing health. In combat, a cover system can be used as assistance against enemies. The player have the ability to lean around, over, and under cover, which can be used as a tactical advantage during shootouts and stealth levels. The game gives the player a wide variety of weapon options—they can be found on the ground, retrieved from dead enemies, or removed from their stationary position and carried around.

Dead Space is a 2008 science fiction survival horror video game developed by EA Redwood Shores (now Visceral Games) for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game puts the player in control of an engineer named Isaac Clarke, who battles the Necromorphs, reanimated human corpses, aboard an interstellar mining ship, the USG Ishimura.

Max Payne 3 is a third-person shooter in which the player assumes the role of its titular character, Max Payne. A new feature to the series, introduced in Max Payne 3, is the cover system, which allows players to gain a tactical advantage, and avoid taking damage from enemies. To progress through the linear story, players take on enemies throughout levels. The game features interactive cutscenes which transition seamlessly into continuing gameplay; there are no loading screens across gameplay and cutscenes.

Gears of War 2 is a third-person shooter built around tactical use of cover. Players fight through a campaign as a soldier of the Coalition of Ordered Governments, carrying a limited loadout of weapons and using cover, melee attacks, and the series' chainsaw bayonet against enemy forces. It supports cooperative campaign play and a range of competitive multiplayer modes, and introduces Horde mode, in which up to five players survive escalating waves of enemies together.

BioShock 2 is the second game of the BioShock series and the sequel to BioShock. It continues the grand storyline of the underwater metropolis Rapture.
